Transportation[]
A lot of the world is just coming out of the “horse drawn coach” phase. Most vehicles that exist are used solely by the military. There are steam trains, but they’re not very common either. Most transport between nations is done by airship, but a ticket costs a fortune.
Airships[]
Great flying machines first developed by Arcadia, in order to counter Mercia’s attempts to overtake them. They are the reason Arcadia has been the only nation to ever parlay with Mercia and form a peace treaty. Osbert Altair, a member of Arcadia’s Five, is the world’s leading airship engineer. While Mercia has been able to craft their own airships, Osberts designs are ultimately superior.
Cars[]
Cars have only very recently been developed. They are so new a development that the streets have not been modified for cars yet, especially in Arcadia. What vehicles that do exist belong to the military -civilians, (even aristocrats) don't own them- and they are very rare.

Miscellaneous[]
While refrigerators do exist and are used to store food, they are more like iceboxes than contemporary fridges.
